Virtual Piano is a freeware MIDI tone generator app and music tool developed by Pablo Software Solutions for Windows. It's straightforward, light on system resources, portable and well-designed.
The download has been tested by an editor here on a PC and a list of features has been compiled; see below. We've also created some screenshots of Virtual Piano to illustrate the user interface and show the overall usage and features of this MIDI tone generation program.

Virtual Piano is optimized for use with Yamaha Synthesizers, but should have no problem with other ones.

Virtual Piano is provided under a freeware license on Windows from instrument software with no restrictions on usage. Download and installation of this PC software is free and 1.0 is the latest version last time we checked.
What version of Windows can Virtual Piano run on?
Virtual Piano can be used on a computer running Windows 11 or Windows 10. Previous versions of the OS shouldn't be a problem with Windows 8 and Windows 7 having been tested. It runs on both 32-bit and 64-bit systems with no dedicated 64-bit download provided.
Other operating systems: The latest Virtual Piano version from 2024 is also available for Mac.
